This was by far the biggest birthday party I have ever attended. The birthday was for Wayne Long who happens to by my father in law as well as a very successful real estate agent in the Columbus, GA area. Close to 100 people were there including an awesome full size band called Sons of Sailors. It took place at The Log Cabin of Phenix City which is a fantastic venue for an event this size.
Doing events like this, I tend to take the photo journalistic approach. This way I am able to stay back and observe while capturing a time line of the party. So when the client goes back through all of the photos they are able to actually see what happened and when. I really enjoy this type of photography because I’m able to capture the little moments and details that you would normally miss.
