Meeting up with Kera, Derek and little Grace to take family photos downtown was so much fun. They were up for about anything as you can see mommy and Grace playing in one of the downtown fountains. I usually don’t go in depth much with family details. But one bit of information that I took away from this family blew me away. Derek and Kera were both in the military when they met. Eventually they got married and were deployed TOGETHER in Iraq for a year. Each of them doing missions and coming home to live in a 12×12 room ( maybe smaller ). I remember how tuff my first year of marriage was. Moving out of state without any jobs lined up. But after hearing there story I couldn’t help but be amazed. I really just wanted to say thank you for doing SO MUCH for this country. I’m really glad to have met you guys!
